Punishing the cheats can not be faulted !
However, there is seldom any recognition accorded to
those who are honest. Maybe because the Honest still
outnumber the other type in the world ! Not many are commended for being honest simply because
that is how you are expected to behave.
The idea occurred to the undersigned as he is always
espousing the motto "REWARD EXCELLENCE" - and the most
common constraint cited is "But where is the money ?" Little do people realize that a word of appreciation
can command far greater value than money does. The idea has been proved right over the years in more
than a dozen differing circumstances. An interactive debate on REWARD versus PUNISHMENT will
be just reward for my time spent in creating this intel. Sanjeev Suri
